I enjoy supporting people, especially women. As a gynecologist, I can optimally combine my interest in medicine and science with my joy in working with people. Individual attention to the wishes and needs of our patients and quality assurance are particularly important to me. Continuous training ensures that my specialist knowledge is always up to date.

My medical studies form the foundation for my career as a gynecologist. Since obtaining my specialist qualification in 1998, I have gained extensive experience in gynecology and obstetrics in various positions, practices, and hospitals. I have run my own gynecological practice since 2001.

Dr. Alina Staikov founded gynpoint with one clear vision: to create a space where women feel understood medically and emotionally.

At gynpoint, women find the full spectrum of modern gynecology under one roof. With locations in Zurich and Horgen, Alina and her team support women through every life stage with empathy, expertise and time.

Her approach goes beyond treatment. It’s about building trust, listening carefully and shaping care around each woman’s individual needs.
Her goal is to ensure that every woman feels seen, supported, and safe. Especially during midlife transitions.

Dr. Sabine Basler brings over 14 years of leadership and management experience across private, public and NGO sectors. She combines scientific expertise with a deep commitment to women’s health and gender equality.

At Meno Swiss, Dr. Basler supports our mission to advance awareness, research and dialogue around perimenopause and menopause in Switzerland. Her background bridges public health, science, and social innovation making her a strong advocate for evidence-based, inclusive approaches to women’s well-being.

Sabine holds a PhD in virology and a degree in molecular and cell biology from ETH Zurich. She also has certifications in communication, self-management and business administration.
